The North Carolina Mennonite Brethren Conference consists of 6 churches located in the Appalachian mountains of Western North Carolina.  The churches share a rich history of overcoming racial barriers and working together to achieve the goals that God has called them to.  They serve as a unique and powerful example of diversity in the faith community.

Work is underway on a new multi-purpose building to be shared by the NCMB conference

and the Bushtown Church.  The vision in North Carolina is growing!

"The history and the life of the Mennonite Brethren North Carolina District provides a model for successful incorporation of multicultural experiences within the Mennonite Brethren world in a way to benefit both the ethnic group and the larger Mennonite Brethren community." Conrad Ostwald
